About Us I started this rescue up in 1996, from nothing, just wanting to help unwanted dogs & try to make a difference, now it has established a good reputation for re-homing dogs and one on one basis to help dogs recover, with a very holistic approach to their future lives. I have owned Shih Tzu’s for over 30 years and have been grooming for 19 years. In 2000 I joined forces with Carol Mead, who is based in Kent. With our combined expertise and resources it has been a big plus for the dogs in our care & re-homing them. My dream is to start an animal retreat with full veterinary clinic & complimentary medicine working alongside each other, little spirit will help me fulfil the dream. . |

I have always worked on a holistic approach using natural foods & the least amount of chemicals possible. I am now fortunate enough to be a channel for healing, which is an added boost for the dogs that pass through our rescue.
